Streamlined author affiliation editing
Submitting authors can now edit their co-authors' affiliations prior to article submission. In the past, we've required each co-author to revise their own affiliation, but with PMC requiring that all affiliations are uniformly formatted, this often led to confusion.

As a result, the submitting author is now responsible for ensuring that all author affiliations are accurate and consistently formatted. You can now edit the affiliations of your co-authors directly in edit mode with no need to email back-and-forth.

For those who missed our late June announcement, here's a reminder that advanced metrics for all published articles are now visible to all Cureus readers! Article views, PDF downloads and citation reporting from multiple indexes can be viewed by clicking the 'Article Metrics' link on any published article page.

Both Cureus and PMC article views and PDF downloads are visible as well as article reads over time and by country. Readers and authors can see how many times an article is read, downloaded, and cited, and even which countries make up the majority of its audience!
